Olivia Ellen Lloyd Announces Socially Distant Tour Ahead of Second Release

Olivia Ellen Lloyd is proud to announce an innovative socially distant tour through Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Michigan during the first week of October 2020.

A current resident of New York City, Olivia has played venues like Rockwood Music Hall and The Bitter End in recent years. Raised in the oldest town in West Virginia, Lloyd is the daughter of a local musician and his rock n' roll influences meld with their shared country roots to create the rich sound on her forthcoming album, Loose Cannon

A University of Michigan alum and West Virginia native, Lloyd has strong ties throughout Appalachia and the Midwest and used those connections to build a series of outdoor shows across the region. With bars and venues closed down due to COVID she is excited to offer live music in a safe space before winter sets in and outdoor gigs are less feasible.

Lloyd is booked to play in outdoor venues and front porches in Philadelphia, Shepherdstown, WV, Morgantown WV and Pittsburgh, PA followed by a Front Porch Series in southern Michigan. These intimate concerts will include Lloyd and bassist Larry Cook and be intimate, socially distant events on the front porches of friends and fans. These not-so-secret shows will be announced on Lloyd’s social media accounts, both Facebook and Instagram.

Following the tour, Lloyd will debut her second single, Shepherdstown. Her first single, Emily received a warm reception and is available for streaming everywhere. Listen here. Her full-length debut is scheduled for release in February 2021.
